The team comes from a well established and respected EMS program that delivered excellence in teaching EMS courses for over 30 years in the DFW area. Elite was established to continue the passion and tradition that the staff has upheld in the past.
Meet the Coordinator
Laura Torrez is the EMS Director/Coordinator of Elite EMT Academy. Laura has been in the EMS Field for over 30 years. In the past she has been the EMT Coordinator for Methodist Hospital of Dallas for 15 years. She has graduated over 5,000 EMT Students. Laura currently holds a State of Texas Coordinator certification and a Licensed Paramedic certification.
